Gasthuis Dokkum
Gasthuis Dokkum is a cozy holiday home which is suitable for two people. Hip and tastefully decorated with a vintage touch and located in the heart of the city center of Dokkum, the northernmost town in the Netherlands.
Everything is present in the house to enjoy Dokkum for several days. A living room with a cozy sitting area and a modern TV, a fully equipped kitchen to prepare a delicious meal, a nice shower and toilet and on the loft is a lovely box spring of 1.60 meters wide.
Dokkum is an old fortified town with a lot of history and beautiful old buildings where trendy boutiques are housed. There are more than twenty eateries within walking distance of the house, no difficult choices… they are all great!
A day trip to Ameland or Schiermonnikoog? To do! You are close to the Wadden coast, the most beautiful nature reserve in the Netherlands.

What a unique place to stay! This opportunity does not come along often, sleeping in a polder mill in a beautiful place just outside Leeuwarden. The accommodation is comfortable, everything you need is there, the area is suitable for bicycle rides. The bedroom is cozy. The bathroom is more than fine, with a view over the polder. If you see a gap in the limited agenda, don’t hesitate and book!
What a great location! You drive away from the city and arrive at a picturesque mill in the beautiful Frisian landscape. You step inside and a feeling of warmth and coziness embraces you. There were 2 local beers on the table. The mill is very cosily furnished and fully equipped. Really recommended to stay here.
Staying in this special place was a truly unique experience. The mill is so attractive and furnished in style. Really beautiful. And yet equipped with every comfort. With a lovely garden with nice seating areas. The e-bikes are a nice extra. Leave the car well. The environment is beautiful. Lots of water, beautiful polder landscape and lots of peace and space. Highly recommended!
